Welcome to our Football Club

Alresford Town Youth Football Club is a well established Charter Standard Club affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association, who encourage boys & girls between the ages of 6 & 18 to join a structured, fun yet succesful Club, offering the minimum of Level 1 qualified Coaches in every age group.

Our annual registration list regularly see’s well over 200 children signed on & enjoying football with the Club, & our teams can be found competing in the Eastleigh & District Mini-Soccer League, Southampton & District Tyro League, City of Southampton Youth Football League, & the Winchester & District Girls Football League’s. Over the years we have experienced success at all ages, & developed a reputation as a friendly Club that tries to play football the right way.

Presentation Evening Celebrates Season

The Annual Awards were an opportunity to review the season and reward more than two hundred young players, and their managers, coaches and the parents that make up Alresford's biggest sporting club.

Every player received a trophy, with each squad presenting individual honours. A number of Special Awards were also given by the club committee to:

Joseph Grant - Club Player of the Year (Mini-Soccer)
Calvin Nicholson - Club Player of the Year (11-a-side)
Kylah Landscheit - Girls Club Player of the Year
Julien Stretch - Defender of the Year
Lee Grant (Under 9's) - Manager of the Year
Under 13's (Charles Ramseyer) - Team of the Year

James Landscheit - President's Cup
Steve May - Chairman's Cup
Rich Tween - Jock Gibbon's Cup
Nicola Binfield - The Person Behind the Scenes Award

Alresford Town Youth FC has Charter Standard Club Status.


The FA Charter Standard programme supported by McDonald’s is a kitemark, which recognises and rewards high quality levels of provision in club and league football. The kitemark is awarded to clubs and leagues that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.

The FA Charter Standard kitemark was launched in 2001 and now has 4,500 clubs, with 460 advanced level Community Clubs and 120 leagues. The kitemark is a major focus of The FA’s £200 million FA National Game Strategy and has improved coaching, the number of girls’ football teams and safeguarding children.
