Welcome to our Football Club

Alresford Town Youth Football Club is a well established Award Winning Charter Standard Club affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association, who encourage boys & girls between the ages of 6 & 18 to join a structured, fun yet succesful Club, offering the minimum of Level 1 qualified Coaches in every age group.

Our annual registration list regularly see’s well over 200 children signed on & enjoying football with the Club, & our teams can be found competing in the Eastleigh & District Mini-Soccer League, Southampton & District Tyro League, City of Southampton Youth Football League, & the Winchester & District Girls Football League’s. Over the years we have experienced success at all ages, & developed a reputation as a friendly Club that tries to play football the right way.

Family Fun Day & Awards: Saturday 12th May

This year our Annual Team Presentations will this year coincide with a Club Fun Day on Saturday 12th May 2018 at Sun Hill School, Alresford.
The club have already confirmed many of the day's activities and all weather marquee, but would also welcome offers of help from our parents.
We are also seeking local business sponsorship for the cost of the inflatables. This will be a great opportunity to highlight your product or service to the community and in doing so support your children's football club.
Some of the activities which have already been confirmed by the football club are:

Hampshire FA Charter Standard Award Winners

Alresford Town Youth FC awarded the Charter Standard Award 2017

The Hampshire FA Charter Standard award winners are selected by the Hampshire FA Charter Standard Working Group based on club assessments conducted during the course of the season. These awards recognise those clubs who have achieved the highest standards over the course of the season.

"Established in 1983, Alresford Town Youth FC represents the local small town of Alresford who compete in the Southampton & District Youth Football Leagues from ages 7 through to 18. The club have approximately 230 players, with the ethos being to provide local boys and girls with the opportunity to play football in a structured, safe and fun environment. Alresford Town Youth FC is made up of a loyal bunch of hardworking and dedicated Committee Members & Managers, who work with a great team ethic, without them, this fantastic award would not be possible, as they all contribute to making the club the success that it is."

FA Chartered Status

Alresford Town Youth FC has Charter Standard Club Status.


The FA Charter Standard programme supported by McDonald’s is a kitemark, which recognises and rewards high quality levels of provision in club and league football. The kitemark is awarded to clubs and leagues that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.

The FA Charter Standard kitemark was launched in 2001 and now has 4,500 clubs, with 460 advanced level Community Clubs and 120 leagues. The kitemark is a major focus of The FA’s £200 million FA National Game Strategy and has improved coaching, the number of girls’ football teams and safeguarding children.
