And That’s a Wrap for 2022/2023

Alresford Town Youth FC held their annual awards day on Saturday 20th May 2023, marking the end of the 2022/2023 season. The club was proud to award the players, coaches and helpers for another fantastic season.

Each team gave a presentation to sum up their season and to award every player with a medal, as well as individual awards for team players in categories including Manager’s Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, Supporters’ Players of the Season and Most Improved.

The club also handed out awards for teams, players and helpers who made an outstanding contribution during the season. The winners of these club awards are as follows:

Boys Club Player – Freddie Tween (U18s)

Girls Club Player – Martha Burnell-Nugent (U10 Girls)

Team of the Year – U18s

Defender of the Year – Elsa Stratton-Brown (U13 Girls)

Manager of the Year – Lee Murrell (U8s)

Jock Gibbons Cup – Matt Taylor (U18s)

Chairman’s Cup – Andy Brown (U14s)

We also held a very successful silent auction on the day with some incredible prizes generously provided by local business. There was also an opportunity to “Win Your Club Fees Back”, where the lucky winner was Harriet Maton.
