Community development and outreach continue to be a key component of the future of Alresford Town F.C. as it emerges from the pandemic. Alresford Town F.C. and Alresford Town Youth F.C. has agreed to align in order to offer a first-class football learning and development program with a pathway into the senior club.

The agreement will offer young football players at the youth club access to all-star and development training sessions, player-parent workshops, and coaches will receive education and mentoring.

“We feel this is a very important announcement for both clubs and was again, in our mindset when we first looked to take over the club,” Alresford Town F.C. Chairman Craig Scriven said. “Creating a learning environment and development pathway will be an essential part of our future plans, helping both boys and girls advance and recognize their potential.”

Planning has now started for a welcome event between the clubs, which will see an open first team training session, parent presentation, coach – player meet and greet. Continued development of the structure is ongoing, and members will be informed as the programs are ready to roll-out.

“As a youth club we are really pleased to form an allegiance with the senior team and share in their vision for the future,” stated Charles Ramseyer Alresford Town Youth Football Club Chairman. “For us it’s always been about offering football to both boys and girls of all ages and now with the opportunity to potentially progress into a senior side, it adds another dimension that can only inspire our players further.”

Part of the alignment will be joint communication along all media airwaves, placement of club website linking Alresford Town F.C. and Alresford Town Youth F.C. This will help in the release and promotion of news, programs and special events for both members.
