Alresford Town Prepare for Landmark Hampshire Cup Night

Our Seniors are preparing for one of the biggest nights at Arlebury Park in recent years as we welcome National League side Aldershot Town in the Hampshire Senior Cup.

For a club of our size, the opportunity to host one of Hampshire’s leading professional clubs in a competitive fixture is a significant occasion.

It gives our players the chance to test themselves against full-time professional opposition and provides supporters and the wider Alresford community with an opportunity to get behind the team on a special cup night.

The fixture also represents another important moment for the club as we continue working to build a stronger and more sustainable future for football in Alresford.

Aldershot Town will arrive at Arlebury Park as clear favourites, but that is exactly what cup football is about. Our players will have the opportunity to represent the club and the town on a bigger stage and see how they measure up against opposition from much higher in the football pyramid.

We want to make Arlebury Park a great place to be on the night and are planning for a record attendance.
