The Return of Grassroots Football

We are pleased to confirm that after the announcement on Friday from the FA, confirming Government approval of their Grass Roots plan, we are now able to return to training and matches using the recommended guidelines and procedures.

In an effort to make sure we have everything in place for our players return we are making the appropriate changes to the facilities at Stratton Bates Rec. with a view to training resuming next week (27th July) and League Football in September.

Next Steps

The FA have provided all clubs with extensive guidance on how to set up training/practice sessions under the restrictions imposed by COVID-19.

A working party at ATYFC have been designated to read and understand the guidance, and we are currently putting together a risk assessment and set of simple procedures to ensure the club we can deliver a safe environment for your children, our Managers/Coaches, and volunteers.
