The Return of Grassroots Football

We are pleased to confirm that after the announcement on Friday from the FA, confirming Government approval of their Grass Roots plan, we are now able to return to training and matches using the recommended guidelines and procedures. Women’s National League Football Coming to Alresford

Pitch Preparation Fund

The Pitch Preparation Fund was set up in support of the game, which is currently facing unprecedented challenges because of the COVID-19 outbreak.  The Fund is providing grants to clubs that have lost out on normal revenue streams during this difficult period. The funding will enable us to prepare our football pitches so that they are match-fit for when it is safe to play football again, following Government advice. GRASSROOTS football is currently experiencing an unprecedented period of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL IN ENGLAND SUSPENDED

Following the recent statement from the Prime Minister and the subsequent FA Announcement regarding Grass Roots Football in England, it is with regret that ATYFC will be suspending all football activities until further notice. The Committee and Managers of ATYFC are deeply saddened by the need for this course of action but feel there is no alternative. Alresford Town Youth FC score funding from The FA

Alresford Town Youth FC are on the hunt for the next generation of female players after receiving a £3000 Grow the Game grant. The scheme, which is funded by The Football Association [The FA] and delivered by the Football Foundation, will enable Alresford Town Youth FC to create two completely new girls teams, in the younger age groups, providing a significant boost to female participatory opportunities in Alresford.
