The Return of Grassroots Football
I’m pleased to confirm that after the announcement on Friday from the FA, confirming Government approval of their Grass Roots plan, we are now able to return to training and matches using the recommended guidelines and procedures.

Women’s National League Football Coming to Alresford
As a growing pillar in the community for the Town of Alresford, today we are delighted to confirm that Alresford Town FC will be bringing National League football to the area.
For the 2020/21 season, Southampton Women’s Football Club of the FA Women’s National League Division One South West (Tier 4), will play their home games at Arlebury Park.

Community development and outreach continue to be a key component of the future of Alresford Town F.C. as it emerges from the pandemic. Alresford Town F.C. and Alresford Town Youth F.C. has agreed to align in order to offer a first-class football learning and development program with a pathway into the senior club.

There’s good news for ATYFC as we have been awarded a £2500 Pitch Preparation Fund grant from the Premier League, The FA and the Government’s Football Foundation.

GRASSROOTS football is currently experiencing an unprecedented period of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The situation is incredibly fluid, and it is impossible to say at this stage when and how football will be back. Like you, we are already desperate for it to return!
